‘Murmurations 01’ follows on from a line of thinking and research exploring, surrounding drawings, line, and subconscious thought. This piece was created away from the constraints, and rigid nature of textile work, focused on the feeling of the working material and movement of stitching to create line and forms.

The piece takes inspiration from the shapes I see when I closes my eyes, bare tree branches, and bird flight patters.
