‘Dancing Bodies’ were created as part of a collaborative project between Norwich Uni of the Arts, Fine Art, and the Sainsbury Centre.

‘Dancing Bodies’ were made in response to ‘Tomb Figures’ on display in SCVA.
The pieces were created to highlight the importance of bodies, and explore why women’s bodies were chosen to accompany the dead into the afterlife.

This project became the basis for ‘Her’, and ongoing themes within Ruby’s work around women’s autonomy, respect, and distorting images of bodies.
