Ayscoughfee Hall Museum - May Trail (2025)
Whilst working as an Assistant at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum, I took on the project of organising the Museum’s May Half Term Trail. My aim for this project was to make something fun, interactive and educational for all who visited during the half term.
The challenge of this project was creating the mini displays for the scavenger hunt, after researching different outcomes like origami and crochet, I decided that creating these simple felt plushies would work best. The plants were made intentionally to resemble certain plants with a friendly style.
Alongside hand sewing each of the plants, I designed all promotional materials to accompany the trail, like the poster and tick sheet, and a series of labels to be hidden alongside the trail to prompt participants to look out of the windows of the Museum, and continue to explore and find different plants or objects around the Museum and Gardens.
